Answers to Common Questions About Our Care

I believe healthcare should feel transparent, supportive, and empowering. Below are answers to some of the most common questions about appointments, insurance, functional medicine, and what it’s like to work with me at Wildly Well.

Do you take insurance?

I operate as a fully cash-pay practice and do not bill insurance directly. Payment is due at the time of service.

However, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. I also accept HSA and FSA cards.

Coverage and reimbursement vary depending on your insurance plan. Some plans may reimburse a portion of appointment costs or lab testing, while others may not cover functional medicine services.

I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to ask about:

  • Out-of-network benefits
  • Functional medicine coverage
  • Lab reimbursement eligibility

Functional medicine focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes behind symptoms rather than simply managing them.

Instead of looking at symptoms in isolation, I evaluate the full picture of your health — including hormones, gut health, nutrition, inflammation, stress, sleep, metabolism, and lifestyle factors — to create personalized treatment plans tailored specifically to you.

Your first appointment is a comprehensive consultation designed to deeply explore your health history, symptoms, lifestyle, concerns, and wellness goals.

I take time to:

  • Review your history thoroughly
  • Understand symptom patterns
  • Discuss previous testing or treatments
  • Identify potential root causes
  • Create a personalized plan moving forward

Additional lab work or functional medicine testing may also be recommended depending on your needs.

I commonly work with patients experiencing:

  • Hormone imbalances
  • Thyroid concerns
  • Fatigue & burnout
  • Gut health issues
  • IBS & SIBO
  • Food sensitivities
  • PMS & PCOS
  • Fertility concerns
  • Perimenopause & menopause symptoms
  • Pediatric wellness concerns
  • Inflammation & metabolic dysfunction
  • Brain fog & chronic stress

My approach is personalized and whole-body focused.

Every treatment plan is individualized based on your symptoms, goals, health history, and preferences.

Recommendations may include:

  • Nutrition support
  • Lifestyle changes
  • Functional medicine testing
  • Supplements
  • Stress management strategies
  • Prescription medications when appropriate
  • Integrative therapies

I work collaboratively with patients to develop realistic and sustainable plans that feel supportive and manageable.

Follow-up frequency depends on your individual health concerns and treatment plan.

Many patients begin with more frequent visits initially and transition into maintenance care as progress improves. Your provider will recommend a schedule tailored specifically to your needs and goals.

Yes. Virtual appointments may be available depending on your location and the type of care needed.

Please contact us directly for availability and scheduling details.

I intentionally allow more time for appointments so we can fully understand your symptoms, health history, lifestyle, labs, and wellness goals.

This deeper approach allows us to provide thoughtful, personalized care rather than rushed symptom-based treatment.

If your message requires chart review, clinical recommendations, research, or more detailed provider guidance between appointments, there may be a charge for provider time spent preparing the response.

Simple administrative questions, refill requests, and scheduling concerns remain complimentary.
